• Ataturk Boulevard is considered the main shopping street of Alanya. There are many shops offering Turkish-made goods. LC Waikiki clothing store is especially popular here.
• It is profitable to exchange currency at post offices, banks, and currency exchange offices (the best of them are located on Ataturk Boulevard).
• At the markets, it is better to pay in local currency. If you pay in dollars or euros, they’ll give you change using Turkish liras. The sellers don’t usually take into account the current exchange rate.
• You can taste traditional Turkish dishes such as kebab and pide in Ravza, one of the oldest restaurants in Alanya. Delicious fish and seafood can be found at the popular Kaleiçi Meyhanesi Restaurant.
