• There are no huge malls in Dalaman, but you can visit local shops which offer everything you need, including souvenirs. Fresh vegetables, fruits, and farm products are sold at the traditional oriental bazaar. It opens every Saturday in a small resort town called Dalyan.
• You can choose semi-precious onyx stone, local textiles, oriental sweets, spices, and olive oil as souvenirs for your loved ones.
• Don’t be afraid to bargain with sellers: this way you’ll get the biggest discounts!
• When going to local markets, prepare some cash (Turkish lira). Don’t make purchases using dollars or euros: the prices will be much higher. You can change money at a favorable rate at Taksim and Beyazıt Squares.
