  • When booking, you can order a meeting at the airport and a child seat at an additional fee.
  • The tour will start at a convenient location: we can pick you up at a hotel, a cafe, or any other place within the city. After the tour, we can take you back or leave at the final tourist attraction.

The places we will introduce you to

  • The Guided Sightseeing Car Tour around Ho Chi Minh City will begin with a visit to the ancient Vinh Nghiem Pagoda. It is the largest pagoda in the city that houses the country’s Buddhist centre. You will admire the Vietnamese temple architecture of the 20th century and see the valuable artefacts. Be sure to get an overview about the history of Buddhism and watch one of the religious ceremonies!
  • You will also go to The War Remnants Museum in order to learn how the Vietnamese fought for independence and peace during the two wars. The photographs, documents, weapons, and reconstructions of the camps presented in the museum will tell you about the patriotism and resilience of the Vietnamese people.
  • The next stop is The Independence Palace. It is considered one of the symbols of the unity of Vietnam: this is the place where the reunification of the northern and southern parts of the country took place after the long Vietnam War. The building will impress you with truly unusual architecture, as its modern style reflects both Vietnamese traditions and philosophy perfectly well. Many rooms of the palace have been preserved unchanged, so you will have the opportunity to travel back in time looking at the wartime interiors.
  • Having immersed yourself in the history, you will have a walk through Ben Thanh Market, the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. You can find almost everything here: food, clothes, fabrics, cosmetics, and souvenirs. What’s more, it’s a great place to observe the daily life of the Vietnamese people, as well as taste freshly cooked traditional dishes.
  • The French Quarter is considered a special area of Ho Chi Minh City as it looks completely different from all the other districts. Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon deserves your special attention. This is one of the largest Catholic churches in Vietnam which can boast of the magnificent stained-glass windows.
  • On the opposite side of the cathedral, there is The Virgin Mary Statue made of white marble. Due to the rumours that somebody saw a tear falling down her face, the statue has become incredibly popular among the guests of the city. Not far from the cathedral, you will find The Saigon Central Post Office, an example of French colonial architecture.
  • After that, go for a walk along both The Embankment of the Saigon River and Ho Chi Minh City Centre. Be sure to admire the modern skyscrapers and old buildings, including the Saigon Opera House, the National Assembly Building of Vietnam, and the monument to Ho Chi Minh.
  • Your acquaintance with the city will end at Bitexco Financial Tower, one of the tallest buildings in Vietnam. If you wish, you can go up the elevator to the observation deck located on the 49th floor. Saigon Skydeck offers breathtaking views of Ho Chi Minh City: you may take truly amazing pictures at the bird’s eye view!

Tips and tricks

  • Be sure to try the famous Banh mi, a baguette sandwich with ham and vegetables. In street stalls, the prices may vary from 10,000 to 15,000 VND.
  • Thieves can approach you on motorbikes: it is a common situation in Vietnam. Walking along the sidewalk, do not carry a bag on your shoulder or hold a smartphone in your hands. All of these things can be stolen in a second!
  • Before going to local markets, make sure that you’re wearing regular clothes: the Vietnamese can identify tourists quite easily. If you choose a traditional conical hat as a part of your outfit, get ready for excessively high prices and long bargaining.
  • Be sure to check out Maison Marou chocolate shop, as they sell the best chocolate in the city. And there is a cafe as well: feel free to enjoy a lovely cup of coffee with a dessert!
  • Shopping lovers can head to the main shopping centres of Ho Chi Minh City, i.e. Saigon Centre and Vincom Dong Khoi, where many Western brands are represented. For luxury brands, head to Takashimaya Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Gourmet dinner can be arranged at EON 51 Heli Bar located in Bitexco Financial Tower. This is a perfect place to enjoy Asian cuisine while admiring panoramic views of the city!
  • If you want to try something more authentic, check out Lotteria lunchroom offering tasty Vietnamese fast food.
