  • You can consider the route yourself: just send us the list of places you’d like to see via our website chat, or discuss it with the driver on site.
  • If you have no ideas on what places you’d like to visit, be sure to entrust the route to the driver: he is a local who knows exactly what to show you. Feel free to improvise along the way as well!
  • The number of locations that you will visit depends on the chosen duration of the ride.
  • When booking, you can order a meeting at the airport and a child seat at an additional cost.
  • You pay per ride, not per person. The total cost depends on both the selected car type and the duration of the ride.
  • After the ride, the driver will take you to a hotel or any other place in the city: just choose the final point of the route in the booking form.

We recommend you to visit the following places

Hurghada Marina Boulevard
Hurghada Marina Boulevard
It stretches for a kilometer along the seaside: numerous ships and yachts deck here. You will be able to see both modern ships and vintage ones. The Boulevard encompasses multiple restaurants and cafes with picturesque terraces. Enjoy the view of the sea and azure waves.
Alf Leila Wa Leila
Alf Leila Wa Leila
Egyptian Disneyland provides both children and adults with an exciting experience. Sense the spirit of oriental fairy tales! Alf Leila Wa Leila houses multiple cafes and restaurants. Admire the illuminated palace and the musical fountain show.
Old City (El Dahar)
Old City (El Dahar)
El Dahar, the oldest part of Hurghada, is filled with winding streets and a unique Arabic atmosphere. This district doesn't offer modern hotels, boutiques, or restaurants. Instead, it gives you an insight into the life of the indigenous people living in the desert. Explore an authentic Arab bazaar, local stores, and gift shops selling handmade souvenirs. The major landmark of the old town is the Coptic Church built by the British in 1922.
The El Mina Mosque
The El Mina Mosque
The El Mina Mosque is undoubtedly one of the most dazzling attractions in Hurghada. This white marble building stands out with its 25 domes, two minarets of 40 m high, exquisite carvings, and oriental motifs on the walls. Only Muslims are allowed to enter the mosque. They must comply with the strictest dress code. Men wear trousers and a traditional long Muslim robe. Women cover their head, shoulders and knees. You can rent appropriate clothes in the courtyard of the mosque.
Sand City
Sand City
It is the largest sand sculpture museum in Africa and the Middle East. It took four tons of sand to build the exhibits. Artists from 17 countries were invited to design them. Sculptors covered the sand with a thin layer of glue. The exposition consists of two parts. The first one presents statues of gods and goddesses, heroes of local legends, and historical figures. The second part includes the statues of characters from famous Hollywood films and cartoons.
Mini Egypt Park
Mini Egypt Park
This open-air park features 60 replicas of famous Egyptian landmarks. Among other copies of local tourist attractions, there also is a miniature of the Nile River. Mini Egypt Park will introduce you to all cities of Egypt in just a few hours. Be sure to visit this place with children!
Sheraton Street
Sheraton Street
The main street of Hurghada connects Hurghada Marina Boulevard and the central area—El Dahar. It is noisy and lively around the clock because of the large number of tourists. Along the road there are many hotels, shops, restaurants, eateries, and hookah bars with cozy terraces.

Tips and tricks

  • Tourists are allowed to enter the mosques, as well as to take photos and videos. Women must wear a long dress or a hijab (there are plenty of them at the entrance). All the guests of the mosque should leave their shoes at the threshold.
  • Tipping in Egypt is optional but it is customary to give the so-called baksheesh for any service you get. Its amount is up to you ($1-2 will be enough). In restaurants and cafes, 10-15% tip is already included in the bill.
  • Running water is not drinkable in Hurghada: the pipes carry it from the Red Sea. Use bottled water for drinking and cooking meals.
  • Keep your eyes, skin, and head safe from the Egyptian sun: don’t forget to take sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat with you.
  • Be sure to buy oil and perfume as souvenirs in specialised stores. Ask the sellers to issue both a certificate of quality and a receipt in order to avoid unnecessary questions at customs.
  • Don’t start a conversation with sellers out of idle curiosity. If you ask them about the price of the goods, you won’t be able to leave without making a purchase.

We express our gratitude for your services and our guide Seraphima. Everything was perfect! She combines her job with a hobby and does it with great pleasure. We’ve learned a lot of interesting facts about the city. In addition, Seraphima took excellent photos: we didn’t even have to ask her (and this was a huge plus). She finds all the interesting places herself and definitely likes her job very much! I’m sure she will succeed. Good luck to Seraphima and Kiwitaxi. See you soon!
