We recommend you to visit the following places

Big Ben and the UK Parliament
Big Ben and the UK Parliament
The clock tower and The Houses of Parliament are part of The Palace of Westminster. Big Ben is considered the most famous clock in the world and the most popular attraction in London. Its name is commonly used to refer to the whole tower, but in fact Big Ben is the largest bell weighing 13.7 tons.
Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace
Britain's largest cultural attraction is the headquarters of the royal family: it serves as the venue for many official events and ceremonies. The building is located at a magnificent place between St James's Park and The Green Park.
Westminster Abbey
Westminster Abbey
This exquisite gothic church is one of the most famous religious buildings in the world. Despite its name, the place is no longer an abbey. Westminster Abbey is the coronation church, as well as the venue for important religious events and special ceremonies.
Hyde Park
Hyde Park
The famous park is located in the heart of London. Its huge area impresses the visitors with lush trees and well-groomed flower beds. You can have some rest in one of the quiet cosy cafes, as well as play tennis, ride a bicycle or a horse. Be sure to get to a musical show or a festive event!
Trafalgar Square
Trafalgar Square
The lively London square houses some of the city's top attractions: magnificent fountains, majestic statues of generals and lions, and the 52-metre Nelson's Column. Moreover, the square is surrounded by graceful historical buildings of museums and galleries.
Piccadilly Circus
Piccadilly Circus
It is a favourite place for rest and entertainment among both tourists and locals. Noisy and crowded at any time of the day, the crossroad is well-known for its bright banners and the famous Eros fountain. The square is also full of cinemas, theatres, shops, restaurants, and traditional English pubs.
Tower Bridge
Tower Bridge
Tower Bridge is a true engineering miracle and one of the main symbols of London. It is the only drawbridge laid across the River Thames. The attraction is incredibly popular due to its eclectic Victorian architecture and the opportunity to admire the most amazing panoramic views of London.
The Tower of London
The Tower of London
This building is the oldest mediaeval castle in Europe. Transformed from a single tower into a reliable fortress, it served as a royal palace, a mint, and even a prison. Now the castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which houses a museum of The Crown Jewels.
Covent Garden
Covent Garden
One of the best areas in London can boast of many entertainment venues, designer boutiques, trendy bars, and restaurants. You will be able to watch street performers, buy fresh fruits and flowers at one of the local markets, admire the building of the world-famous Royal Opera House, and much more.

Tips and tricks

  • Although London is known as a rainy city, it is not necessary to bring an umbrella with you. The rains are relatively short: you can wait them out in one of the local pubs or simply buy a raincoat.
  • Fans of antiquities and interesting knick-knacks should definitely visit the flea market located next to the London Bridge Underground Station. Be sure to visit the place early in the morning in order to find true treasures of the past!
  • The Poppies restaurant serves a famous British dish called Fish and Chips. Since 1950, it has been prepared here according to the traditional recipe.
  • Visit the oldest perfume shop called Penhaligon’s: friendly consultants will select a perfect fragrance and help you choose a gift for your loved ones. Customers can’t resist buying the goods presented in this shop.
  • In cafes and restaurants, it is customary to leave a tip of 10-15%, while in bars and pubs, you can leave no tips at all.
  • One of the city’s free tourist attractions is Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace. You can observe the ceremony on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday mornings. The show is quite popular: arrive as early as possible to get a good spot.
